The team at Golf South Ayrshire are delighted to announce the reintroduction of the 8 course season ticket for 21/22 and plan to start accepting applications from Mid-March.
It has been a particularly challenging season where we were required to regularly alter our operations to react to the changes in the COVID guidance. We remain hopeful that we can all look forward to a more settled season ahead, but suspect we will all have to accept some disruption initially, as the vaccine roll out continues and we progress through the easing of lockdown.
We have taken some time to review your comments received as part of the Member Survey, and are taking steps to implement these where possible.
These include (but not limited to);
- Addressing several drainage issues on the courses,
- Tackling the rabbit population and subsequent damage (ongoing),
- Addressing playability issues on Darley Golf Course,
- Standardising booking rights for all traditional Season Ticket Holders,
- Providing greater clarity in our Terms and Conditions.
- Reviewing the café menu and suppliers.
We are pleased to announce an application to Scottish Golf to form ‘The Golf South Ayrshire Golf Club’ has been approved. We welcome any season ticket holder who is not already a club member, or wishes to join a second club, the opportunity to obtain an official WHS handicap and play in organised competitions, for a small additional fee.
More details will be released in the coming days/weeks.
South Ayrshire Council have agreed the prices for Season 21/22. There are some modest increases in both Season Ticket Fees and Green Fees, but we still feel the fees offer fantastic value for money, particularly with the return of the 8 course ticket and continued concessions for various categories of members.
From everyone at Golf South Ayrshire, thank you for your patience and understanding throughout 20/21 and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
